Spa Overview

The spectacular Tschuggen Bergoase, built by star-architect Mario Botta and open since December 2006, is set right within a mountain at a height of 1800 metres above sea level in picturesque Arosa, Switzerland. After entering it through a glass bridge from the Five-star Hotel Tschuggen Grand Hotel, guests can enjoy wellness spread over four floors and 5,000 square meters in size. Nine 'Light Trees' have been constructed on the roof of the Mountain Spa to reflect natural bright light down onto each level. This true oasis of health, beauty and wellbeing includes a waterworld with indoor and outdoor pool as well as a state-of-the-art fitness area. With its huge variety of different treatments and the minimal design focusing on granite stone, maple wood and glass the Tschuggen Bergoase is one of the most modern and innovative spas in the world.

Overview

Four restaurants offer a rich variety of cuisine. The La Vetta, proudly featured in the Gault Millau Guide, serves Mediterranean fare in the evenings. The Grand Restaurant offers an international cuisine, the Bündnerstube (winter) features traditional Swiss specialties, and the meals of La Provence are based on market-fresh ingredients - it also has a beautiful sun terrace. Last but not least, the Tschuggen Bar & Lounge offers live musical entertainment on a daily basis.
